The radical left continues to find reasons to be angry, this time lashing out at a popular home improvement chain.
The hashtag #BoycottHomeDepot is trending on X (Twitter) at the time of writing after the company’s former CEO announced that he would continue to support Donald Trump’s presidential bid, even if he is convicted of a crime.
The news was met with backlash from the radical left, with many of its adherents vowing to never shop at the store again.
When Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus was asked by a reporter with Reuters whether he would still support Trump if he was convicted of crime, Marcus replied, “I think so. Because I think it’s all trumped up.”
“Time to boycott Home Depot. I’ll be cutting up my credit card after reading this. He just wants to keep the huge tax cuts,” wrote one liberal on X in response to Marcus’ statements.
Conservatives were seen mocking the left’s apparent plans to boycott the chain, claiming that the average liberal likely doesn’t shop at Home Depot.
“Shitlibs threatening to boycott Home Depot is like me threatening to boycott gay porn. Sometimes you idiots have no idea what you’re talking about,” wrote one conservative in response to the trending hashtag.
Marcus is considered a Republican “mega-donor,” having contributed significant sums to Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 election campaign.
Home Depot replaced Canadian Tire as the preferred choice for anti-Trudeau parking lot parties, as was reported by Toronto 99.
