Justin Trudeau continues to underperform in polls, signaling a likely defeat in 2025.
Conservative Party (CPC) leader Pierre Poilievre continues to dominate his competitors in recent polls.
The CPC leader is Canada’s “preferred prime minister,” holding a double-digit lead over his closest competitor Justin Trudeau.
34% of Canadians prefer Poilievre, whereas only 20% prefer Trudeau, and only 17% prefer NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, according to a Mar. 22 poll by Nanos Research.
Poilievre has held a strong lead over Trudeau since winning the CPC leadership campaign in 2022, as was previously reported by Toronto 99.
